United States Indian Police Academy Instructor Certification Training – April 2024

NamUs was asked by the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) to be regular part of their curriculum for new officer trainings. This NamUs presentation will be a virtual training to provide officers a background and overview on the NamUs database, the free forensic and analytical resources available, and a high level overview of how tribally affiliated cases entered into NamUs can be critical in the investigations of missing and unidentified person cases and the impact it can have on their tribal communities.
