Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Community Missing and Murdered Indigenous Persons (MMIP) awareness and Law Day celebration

The Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Community is hosting an MMIP awareness and informational activities event at their Law Day celebration on May 1, 2024.  The Community Event will be held in the evening, 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and will offer various break-out sessions and be a mini version of the Missing Persons Day event that was held in Salt River in 2023. Families will have the opportunity to be in a private room in the courthouse and provide information to Salt River Police Department Detectives, Federal Bureau of Investigations, and NamUs staff.
