The San Carlos Apache Police Department, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Bureau of Indian Affairs Murdered and Missing Unit (BIA-MMU), United States Attorney’s Office, and NamUs are holding an event to identify and address cases of missing indigenous persons from the San Carlos reservation in Arizona. At this event, agencies will work with families to enter new cases into NamUs, update existing cases, collect DNA from eligible family members, and provide resources to the families of missing loved ones.
