Missing Persons Day in the DMV (District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia)

The District of Columbia Medical Examiner's Office in partnership with District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia (DC, MD, and VA) law enforcement agencies will be hosting their first annual missing persons day event. This event is for families and friends who are searching for their missing loved ones. Families of missing persons will have an opportunity to open new reports and have them entered into NCIC and NamUs. Family members will also be able to donate DNA for uploading to CODIS and genealogy databases.  NamUs staff will be present to meet with families who have missing loved ones, enter new missing persons cases and update existing cases in NamUs, provide information on NamUs to families and the public, and assist the host agencies with DNA collection.
