Jessica Ruiz is a Public Health Analyst at RTI International and serves as the Regional Program Specialist for Region 4. Prior to her current role as Regional Program Specialist, she supported the NamUs program’s American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) Initiatives. In addition to her experience with NamUs, Ms. Ruiz has over 10 years of experience in the social services field, including advocacy positions supporting behavioral health and housing programs for underrepresented and underserved populations. Before coming to NamUs, Jessica worked at My Health My Resources of Tarrant County. In this capacity, she assisted individuals with mental health conditions under the Texas Correctional Office on Offenders with Medical or Mental Impairments (TCOOMMI). While there, Ms. Ruiz helped to coordinate psychiatric and substance abuse care for individuals that were on probation or those being released from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice on parole.
