The Washington State Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and People (MMIW/P) Task Force assesses systemic causes behind the high rate of disappearances and murders of indigenous women and people. The task force includes tribes, tribal organizations, as well as state and local policy makers. NamUs staff will be provide a presentation at this meeting to discuss the database and resources available through the NamUs program.
