In compliance with Savanna’s Act, the U.S. Attorney’s Office is requesting input from tribal organizations that provide victim services on how to improve responses to missing and murdered indigenous persons (MMIP) cases. The meeting will consist of discussions regarding existing resources, concerns, needs and exploring avenues toward improving responses to missing or murdered American Indian and Alaska Natives in the Southern District of California. NamUs forensic and analytical services will be presented.
