NamUs and California Department of Justice’s Missing and Unidentified Persons Unit will meet with new unidentified deceased investigators in Southern California. The purpose of the meeting is to train the new investigators in processes pertinent to the California Department of Justice penal and government code mandates pertaining to unidentified decedents, as well as NamUs database entry, biometric upload techniques, and available forensic services.
