The Navajo Police Department will be hosting a 1st annual Navajo Nation Missing Persons Day event on November 4th, 2023 at the Window Rock Unified School District office in Fort Defiance, Arizona. Families are invited to this event to remember and spread awareness of missing and unidentified persons. This event will offer a chance for families to provide their DNA, meet with law enforcement, and support from crisis and advocacy programs. Families are encouraged to bring photos of their loved ones, medical and dental records, and meet with NamUs staff to provide updated information or enter their loved ones into the NamUs system.
