The NamUs Regional Program Specialist (RPS) will attend the 2023 Missing in Colorado day hosted by the Colorado Bureau of Investigation. At the event, the NamUs RPS will meet with families affected by the disappearance of a loved one to enter new missing persons cases into the database, as well as update any existing cases as needed. The RPS will also partner with law enforcement to assist with collection of DNA and collect additional biometric resources, documents, and photos that are available for entry into NamUs.
Law enforcement representatives will also be available to meet with families to take reports and gather information about missing persons. A private family support group will be held from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Space is limited, so reservations are required to participate in the support group.
